On 16/05/10 in the Putra Stadium Kuala Lumpur, China beat Indonesia 3-0 in the Thomas Cup Final.. Awesome LinDan beat old Taufik with a great display of athleticism and racquet skills, Cai and Fu edged Setiawan and partner, whilst Chen Jin patiently wore down a skillfull Simon Santoso in 3 sets. China wins the Thomas Cup for the 4th time in a row. In the Uber Cup China tries out its rookies for the 2012 Olympics and loses to a Korean Team mixed with fresh talent and veterans 1-3.Korea becomes Uber Cup champion for the first time and and their young stars are likely to mount a strong challenge to China in future.China loses the battle this time but is likely to win the war because she has the guts to throw their young players into the deep end and invest in the long run.
