Final agreement reached on moving 2 sports venues
LONDON (AP) — An agreement has been reached on a cost-saving change of venue for badminton and rhythmic gymnastics at the 2012 London Olympics. After months of negotiations, London organizers said Wednesday that the two sports had agreed to move to Wembley Arena in north London.

Lawrence fire leaves nine homeless
LAWRENCE — A three-alarm fire destroyed a three-family home at 17 Pleasant Terrace tonight. Acting fire Chief Brian Murphy said everybody made it out safely. The building has nine residents, and the Red Cross will help them find housing, Murphy said.
