It was a tall steel tubular pole with a frame (similar to a shuttlecock) ‘balanced’ on the top. This frame had a wooden ledge around the bottom that kids stood on and a handrail part way up. The frame spun but also ‘rocked’. The last time I saw one the frame had been removed – H&S again.
Simply a video and stills recording of a picnic of members of the Real Change Organizing Project celebrating last month’s action (see my three previous uploads). The video shows some amusing attempts of picnickers to keep a badmitton shuttlecock in the air, and some stray comments from myself, such as , “The object is to hit it, Anitra” and “Hit it higher, Anitra.” The picnic was held in Seattle’s unique Gas Works Park, and closes with a couple of images taken of it as we left near sunset. This is also a test of a new video camera.
Dwell Gets a Gag Gift on Its Birthday
